Sales & Support Engineer

We are looking for a sales and support engineer for our US branch office in Costa Mesa, CA. Besides the general office work, the direct contact to our American and Canadian customers will be one of your tasks. Developing the US market for our sophisticated and unique software for next generation sequencing is a one-off chance to personally participate in the companies success in a fast-growing and trend-setting market.

Your duties would be:

• customer support by phone, e-mail and Internet meeting
• product trainings and demonstrations by phone and Internet
• assisting at marketing and sales campaigns (gathering contacts, cold calls, …)
• maintaining the customers database

We want you if:

• you have expert proficiency in molecular-genetic methods
• you are familiar with Next Generation Sequencing (mandatory)
• you have several years of practical laboratory experience (DNA-sequencing instruments or gene cloning PCR applications, mandatory)
• you have the necessary rhetoric skills to convince people
• you are a team-player, cosmopolitan and open for innovations
• you possess a BS or MS degree in Biological Sciences
